I need to get a friend to stop mudding. Its destroying her. Are there any programs out there that will make it so that she would not be able to mud anymore?

Send out a secret message to fellow mudders to kill her character every time she starts to get some decent level building going. :D

A MUD is a text based RPG played over the net. Do a search on google and you'll come up with all kinds of different MUDs that are popular.

I guess I'm a little too young to have heard of these...

Er, leave her alone. It wears off.

I wasted about a year mudding, and it didn't kill me. For that matter, I wasted two years attending Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it didn't kill me. Why don't you create a character of your own and join her?

Just thnk god that she isnt addicted to a graphical MUD like Ahsherons Call or Everquest. You think MUDs are addictive? well you havent seen anything until you see how the MMORPGS can suck the life out of you. I spent 3 months of real time over the period of a year playing Asherons Call. It will not kill you, but when you finally get over the game and realize how much time you have wasted and opportunities you have passed up because of a stupid game, you will wish you were dead =) I have a rather sad story to go along with this, but I will spare you my problems =)

Firewall without her knowing the password...

There is a program called Scissors. If you install it in your hand and start it on the line that connects her PC to the net, I guess she'll have to stop mudding for a while. Hint: Most effective Saturday night when shops are closed for a while ;)
