Anyone here know how to do linear regression on a TI-85? Better yet - is there some way to do a higher degree of it (eg. parabolic regression or smth)

Better still - any free software out there that would do this on my PC (kinda like FitKit)

Nuts! I know this... I used a TI-85 my entire
senior year of highschool. The TI-85 rules.

Let me see if I can find it in my 2-year old math
notes...

...worthless scribbles. Totally unorganized.

Sorry, found nothing. I found something on the
internet that may help. I can't remember if this
is right, though. Sorry again.

I don't have an 85 at hand, but on my 83, using Stat->LinReg ax+b yields the appropriate information. I think there's something similar on the 85.

I don't believe that the 85 was designed for stats. The 82 and 83 are pretty good. The 85 was originally designed to be an engineering calculator. Either way, get an 89, it has a raw unprecedented whopping 10MHz from a crapola M68K.
