View Full Version : I'm back; Broken, hurting and limping but still smiling

Back from snowboarding. Nursing a gimped up shoulder and neck, re-fractured tailbone (fractured it last year doing the same thing), and two sprained thumbs (dont ask how that happened, i still dont know), I still cant stop thinking about how i can somehow get up there again soon. :) Cracked my brand new helmet too. :( But theres a little skier kid somewhere whos still alive (and oblivious to what happened behind him) because i caught a heel-edge in an ice rut at what seemed like 1000 mph trying to avoid the little knee-high guys sudden eratic movement. Although the upside was that i got to ride on the ski-patrol skidoo (after they finally managed to get me on it). Narrowly escaped the humility of the spine board tho.

To make a long story short; I'm broken and wont likely be leaving the house for a week. I have to search for a new e-mail server as another.com is charging now and its not worth paying for. As soon as i find one i like (any suggestions?) i'll hopfully be able to get peoples submissions for the FAQ. I hope nobody has been sending them while i was gone as i havent been able to retrieve e-mail for the past eight days.

Damn, I sent my submission, and now it's gone forever! Well, forget it - I didn't save it, and I'm not redoing it...

Actually, my computer took a huge crap last week and I haven't gotten aroudn to doing anything with it yet...

Glad to hear you survived your trip....
My aunt dislocated her shoulder while skiing a couple weeks ago. She was on the spine board, being taken back, and her shoulder popped back in. Apparently, she screamed the whole way to the lodge (or wherever)... And this is why I've never skiied.....

i've been way to sick to do crap unfortunatly but today im feeling a little better so i HAVE started the number base conversion FAQ, tutorial, or whatever.

>and two sprained thumbs (dont ask how that happened, i still dont know),
