View Full Version : Tagging Pictures

I hjave a lot of pictures, artwork, scans, and things that I've collecting from browsing image boards. I want to be able to 'tag' the images so that I could search for the pictures through the tags I ascribe them -- kind of like play the image labler esp game on my own collection. Is there any program to do this, or do I need to code a program to do this myself? Should I or could I hack picasa to do this effectively? It's just necessary that this would be streamlined because I have a lot of pictures to label.

http://www.taggtool.com/index.php, unfortunately it's around $20.
There's also this one, http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm. It mentions tagging capabilities in the features and it's free for home users. But dunno if it suits your needs.

The faststone tagging feature is just a on/off switch to highlight files.

I like that tagger utility, may invest, I don't know, I never pay for software though

... but maybe I should put money into industries I want to proliferate

... capitalism

I dunno

Capitalism with a healthy dose of economical anarchism is an option too. You know....

Most companies would rather a casual user steal their product than steal their competitors, its a matter of future sales. When you start making money using it and decide to buy a copy, you are more likely to buy the one you have been pirating for years.

That's how MS took over the OS market, too bad they forgot or never knew in the first place, or just don't care anymore.
