Pats vs Giants, the current score is...

    Pats 0, Giants 0.

Well for the next couple of days at least, then the Giants are going to get their ass handed to them on a plate!

FYI, this is the spoiler thread where all "live" discussion should happen.
This is so all those people who are catching a delayed feed don't get the big show spoiled for them by knowing the result ahead of actually watching it.

I'm rooting for both. For the Pats to make it a perfect season (less $$ fines that is) and for the Giants for Eli's sake, so the "little brother" can get some star-time.

5:30 pm CST, which is GMT-06:00. So 11:30pm?

This is quite exciting... a US Football post that an Englishman and an Irishman appear to be participating in... I guess the Texan is no surprise, though...

Anyway, I'm a New York Jets fan, there for, I have a history of hating the Patriots and this stands on top of the fact that the NFC team is also from my local region... so I'd have to say I'm rooting for the Giants on this one and if you've seen the point spread, I'd say I'd bet on the Giants, too. However, odds to winning the Super Bowl are in the Pats favor, clearly.

The JETS! I hate the Jets!! [I hate the Jets!!] (As having a history of being a Pat's fan since about '78.)

For myself... I've never seen a game in full (never mind the Super Bowl), so I'm curious to see what it's like. Considering the time it's on I probably won't watch it all -- I've class from 9-5 pretty much straight on Monday.
Is it generally an accurate starting time, or what one may call an Irish-5:30 which means anywhere +/- about three hours?

Oh no, it WILL start @ 5:30. The television networks make sure that happens.

I've only seen American Football in Hollywood movies.
