Could you help to recognize this software methodology

    Good day,...

I'm reading Alan Solomon lectures in the Course:
    "Fundamental of Software Engineering (2007)."

He uses the next methods but i can't understand what it is (Its abit close to WaterFall but also very diffrent) :
document title: Steps in the creation of the software Products
    Paragraph: "1.Step 1: User or Client ?"
this pargraph describes the end user or the client .
who is going to use it and why (WaterFall.analysys ? )

    Paragraph 2:"Step 2:Requirements of user"
Explains the user Requirement (SRS ? )

    Paragraph 3:"Step 3 :Algorithms:"
Defines the algorithms that are going to be used.
Software and Hardware spesificaion for this Algorythem.

    Paragraph 4:"step 4 : Specification "
Software definitions and specification (WaterFall.deisgn ?).
    Paragraph 5:"step 5 : Testing"
    Paragraph 6:"step 6 :Reliability:"

All this is nice but it is pretty defiant from Water Fall .

    Anyone ? .. I don't have a clue what methodology it is ..
