Ok, I recently asked a question about my compiler that had my program as an attachment. The program was a simple "game over!", that I had changed to F you. Nothing more then added personality. So why was I threatened? The program was not directed towards anyone.
Perhaps because that's against the rules? I would think it would be obvious.
I'd recommend that you ask the person who gave you the warning directly, but I assume that you cannot yet use PMs since you only have 2 posts so far.
Have a read through the forum rules because it's a good idea for any forum you visit and because it might help you understand why you "got in trouble".

I have read throught the rules, it says nothing about it. It says not to "pick fights" or whatever but that was not the case in this matter. I think certain people should "pull the stick out".

Your opinion on the subject might be given more weight if you had been here for more than one day. Then again, it might not.
It's your job to adjust to the community, not to get the community to adjust to you. If the atmosphere is not to your liking, then you are not compelled to stay.
Imagine if you were though... That would be amusing. If it was a clause in the T&C webmaster could make a fortune (if a fine was imposed on breaking the clause).

I thank you all for the help. I seem to need more help then I would think when it comes to the programs I am using to write code.
dead_captain, there was this one member who busted the rule laserlight showed you right & left, constantly. He was left alone while I was simoltaneously temp banned because I was "annoying". Life isn't anything even close to fair, get use to it.
General Discussion board is not a place for people to whine about why they got this or that when they clearly broke the rules. I realize it is a general topic but it's in poor taste as far as I'm concerned.
It's simple. Break the rules and one of the mods will call you on it. Play along nicely and we won't even pay attention to you and will go after others who break the rules.
The only reason I can see why you would post this type of stuff in GD is to vent to others about your treatment or essentially tattle on the mods to prove a point. We have rules and we enforce them which keeps the board nice, neat, tidy, and fun for everyone. Perhaps its just me but I think we are quite lenient and understanding in these matters.
