    Mass Effect's Villain

I was watching a trailer/review of Mass Effect on Game Trailers and apparently the villain in this game has now taken on my username. A username I've occupied for nearly 7 years. I don't know what to think of it except maybe that people will charge with being unoriginal with my username. As far as I knew when I came up with it, I had never heard the name before. They oughta come up with their own silly fantasy names -_-
    My computer is awesome.

    You should sue!

    Something smells waxy . . . it's actually a word, according to thefreedictionary.com: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Cerin

I realized long after I came up with the name that it is a word but...what are the odds that there are 2 instances where people use it as a name?

Mmm, pretty good actually. Any four- or five-letter word is probably going to be used by several different people. For example, dwks isn't even a word, but there's a company called Dwks, Inc, a blogger who goes by dwks; it's a contraction for "Dreamworks", and apparently it's an acronym that means something in German. (None of which I have any relationship to.)

Cerin is actually a town, believe it or not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%8Cerin

I was reading the atlas the other day and noticed Salem is also a town (in America somewhere). Don't ask why

I guess the world is too large to remain unique.

    I think it's just a matter of picking really strange/long/alphanumeric names. "zacs7", for instance, isn't a town as far as I can tell. And "hk_mp5kpdw" . . . .

So you either get pronouncability or uniqueness . . .

Who knows, it could be a pub in some obscure town somewhere: "Hey, anyone going to Zacs 7 tonight?"

    Take your own advice.
