    Question Back to programming?

    Hi there..

I am new to this club so hi!
I am 29 years old with an honours degree in Computer Science. I've been working in the IT industry for six years.

Thing is I have "fallen" into the the not so great world of Domino/Notes. Now its a different kind of development with some coding. With Lotus Script some JavaScript etc. I look back on the the past six years and I have been pretty bored most of the time.

WHen I think back to the times I have been coding be it in Lotus Script or VB and time flew by. I never noticed the clock go by at work.

This may sound silly but is it too late to go back to programming? Its seems to be something I really think is fun?

I may have a project starting next week using the Notes C-API so keep your fingers crossed for me..

    Any feedback would be appreciated..

    Cheers!
    Al¨

No, of course not. Get a reasonable compiler, a couple of current books, write a few test pieces and away you go. It'll come back to you. Programming is, basically, programming. Once you've understood the concepts, the rest is detail and semantics.
