    Oh my god.

    Next thing you know, is in the middle of Half-life, a window will come up asking you for "your msn passport" and microsoft will be nagging you to register every single 3d game you buy, and you have to re-register your games for different computers. arseholes...

    i've read a bit on this about a week ago, and my conclusion is this they are buying them so they can shut OpenGL down permanently and "borrow" its tech(again) so that the only graphics lib usable is theirs.

    It truly makes me sick.

    No where in the article did it mention that MS bought rights to OpenGL.
