Looks like you're really onto something there
you seem very keen to brainwash into 'D' (what a crap name)
are you in the developers advertising team?

There are people you can talk to about your feelings.
>>D seriously departs from Java<<
So why not call it "Tea"?
It seems odd that Walter Bright intends D to be the successor to C/C++, yet intentionally omits preprocessor commands, templates, and overloaded operators (to name a few).
New programming languages come and go. I'm not certain there is any reason to believe D will stick around, so don't be in a hurry to register 'dprogramming.com'.

I read about D in Dr. Dobbs... Sounds like crap to me. No pointers.... They made a big deal about no headers, but it's just a new bloody name... no preprocessor directives... No thanks.

no pointers, no preprocs, headers,
no operator overloading (WTF!!)
sounds like a cross between java and BASIC
some lame attempt to push C# and .net out the way - not a chance!
