At this moment I'm programming for OS9000 and I'm planning to do some programming in VxWorks. Both are RTOS's and really nice.
I program for Solaris at school.

I write code on HP/UX at work. We also have code running on VOS, but I've not had to do any development on VOS.

since when is solaris an alternative os? just asking...i just never think of UNIX type OS as alternative...
I dunno - it's not Linux, Windows, or DOS, so I put it....

Hmmm. I'm missing VxWorks in that list. Thought that is one of the most used OS's in embedded. If eCos and QNX are listed, then VxWorks should surely be there.

It's under the "realtime" sub-heading (along with several others)
ACOS, ShellOS, and SOS aren't in there!! (My, hillbillie's, and [stealth]'s OS's respectively)
why dont you all put them together and make one big
super-OS, it may be able to rival windows!
