    Astral projection & lucid dreaming

Has anybody here been practicing those things?

The human brain is a neural net, and our counsciousnes (emotions) are the algorithms. When you are aware in a dream your counsciousnes will experience this dream world as the truth, and the brain is therefore trained with lies.

I just woke up from a lucid dream. What I don't understand is how my brain can create such perfect graphics. As I walked around outside my house I noticed how it looked almost exactly the same as in the physical world. I even saw the reflections in the windows as transparent images, the 3D geometry was perfect etc.. It was almost perfect except that all the colors were a little darker and more cosy than in real life.

How can the brain create such ralistic worlds?

I've also had 2 "real" OBE's (out-of-body) - and those things are even more real and strange.

Anyway, I'm sure this can cause brain damages, but what the hell, it's the only cool thing you can do in this poor life.

Also, one pretty strange thing that happened tonight was that I got completely paralyzed, I couldn't even open my eyes. I actually felt that some part(s) of my brain were sleeping. I guess the part of the brain that controls physical movement was disconnected. It would last for only 4 - 5 seconds though. Then I could feel how my brain started to woke up. I could first move my arms a little, then move completely. I also wonder why my heart can beat extremely fast sometimes while doing this.

I just love to experiment with my brain like this. As an neural net programmer this it's interesting.

I wouldn't call it perfect graphics but rather the limit at which your brain could show them, think of it this way, Your brain translate the "graphics" from your that you saw with your eyes, so it entirely possible and probable that your subconciousness is capable of the same thing.

another way to look it is, lets say you have a screen set to 300 by 200 pixels, and that was your eye and interperation of things, you would think them perfect, yet 1024 by 800 is infinatly better, but still not perfect.
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?

oh and the only way to create realistic worlds is to have more computing power to translate those worlds, our brains are supercomputers, we haven't even came close to anything like it

on thi subject i saw a program on discovery the other day that discussed dreaming. Apparaently there are normally 4 areas of sleep where you experience dreams.

During these times the brain locks part of the cortsx to disable the spine so you cannot act out your dreams.
