Staying away from General.
I usually do that too, ethic. I've had problems with their players, though. The old one had all sort of issues, and when I tried the new one the other day, the video screen covered all the buttons!
It's still worth the trouble

It says something about "Only people within the US can watch them". Ahluka is Welsh, if I remember.

Don't be so pedantic.

I have no problems watching them! Ireland seem to like Lost so it's on terrestrial TV a couple of days after it's aired in the states. But proxy should work.
Holy Protoss! I'll give that a go later (I'm playing with my new car! What? It's only the second time I've mentioned it)

7. It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
40. There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.*
I like most scientific-based educational TV shows. One particular such episode, "The Death Star" has been watched 16 or so times and is by far my single most favorite of such shows, especially of that length. The Mythbusters, and most things on "The Science Channel" are strongly liked. I have almost no interest in biology and some archeology-related stuff so I tend to skip over such shows. CNN Headline News is next most liked. I've watched the classic 1950's type cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby Doo as some examples) as many as 40 times and I still find them funny even after all those plays. I even made my own animated cartoon, but is nowhere near as complex as those in the 1950's. GIF limits the color details (since I have no other alternative outside writing some program or lossy-compressed AVIs). Outside this, rarities include things Hot Pursuit, The New Detectives, The FBI Files, Most Shocking and my local news in the order of most common to the least common.
If the show is rated TV-MA I will refuse to watch it and immediately change the channel upon seeing this rating. TV-14 is borderline. Most things I watch are TV-G and sometimes TV-PG.
Almost all modern animated cartoons are strongly disliked (Billy and Mandy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Class of 3000, and many others - judged mainly from advertisements with the first being far worse).
Recently I've been wasting my evenings (re)watching SG-1. The wife loves Atlantis but thought that SG-1 looked dumb. I forced her to sit through a couple episodes and now she's hooked too.
Beyond that, I like House. No, I LOVE House. I have a fondness for characters who are complete ..........holes and yet possess hardcore skills. For the same reason I think Rodney on Atlantis is awesome.
Other people mentioned MythBusters. It's fun to watch but I get frustrated when they test things that OBVIOUSLY are not going to work. I wish they'd spend more time on myths that are actually worth testing.
Yes, I agree totaly. It's fun to watch but I get frustrated when they test things that OBVIOUSLY are not going to work. I wish they'd spend more time on myths that are actually worth testing.
It's weird cuz I hate history, but really like ancient history. Like the shows Rebuilding An Empire have.I have almost no interest in biology and some archeology-related stuff so I tend to skip over such shows.
Heh, brewbuck, "ancient" could have another meaning, as you know.
