Well, ok.
Stolen dogs may not usually be used as fighters and/or baits in dog fighting rings.
They may also be taken and killed for sacrificing by some cults, hunted for stuffing, or if they get lucky, only eaten.

Use tranquilisers?Yeah, but you'd have to have some balls to go near it.

I did say "most" not "all".
However, do you really think an intelligent person with a well-paying job would go out and steal a dog? Not likely.
Now, do you think a person living in the "ghetto" with no job, selling drugs, and dropped out of high school, or didn't go to college, would steal a dog? Yes, the chance is higher.
That's what I meant.

But you also have to remember that someone part of a drug gang, or dog fight operation, would have easy access to things like tranquilisers, and you don't have to be real bright to know what they do.
People will steal lots of things. I'm still rather confused about why someone chose to steal my walker one day. My sister used to live in a rather shady part of Detroit, and obviously that seems like a good reason to avoid going, but I loved visiting her anyway. We ended up going somewhere for a little while without my walker. I'd left it out in front of her house, and when I got back it was gone. Why anyone would choose to steal something so useless to them is beyond me.
I wiki'd since I wasn't sure... is this what you mean by walker?

If so... sometimes I don't like the world we live in.

He was an Alaskan malmute/husky mix. They are a sled dog. . My brother didn't have him that long. He just got him within the past month. It just sucks because my brother has been pretty depressed, and this dog was really beginning to cheer him up. He was really getting attached to the little furball and then this happens. Me and my brother have had it pretty rough over the years. Just when things start to go well, something like this happens. I have my fingers crossed that he will turn up.

You may teach a person from now until doom's day, but that person will only know what he learns himself.
Now I know what doesn't work.
A problem is understood by solving it, not by pondering it.
