the old board link hasnt worked for awhile....i dunno why....

The link is to the previous host for the site, and after I moved they stopped giving me sufficient space to host the board. I have a copy of the old board; unfortunately, it's about 60 MB and tens of thousands of files, so I haven't really had the desire to upload the entire thing. If there's a particular post I can search it for you, or if everyone wants the old board I can upload it, although not immediately.
I always had a "keen" interest in seeing the old board myself. Many veterans here talk about it and quite often reference it.

I would like the old board back. There were
a lot of questions that I asked (which I still
have bookmarked) that I would like to review.
People already took the time to answer them,
so I don't want to ask them again.

Same here. there were some nice questions asked and I learned a lot from it. I looked at it as a big library.
Lets make this post in to a petition(sp?).Maybe if enough people want the old board back for review the wm will put it back on.
i'd love the old board back - many a time in the last couple of months i have searched for something i am stuck on and i know i read something about the issue on the old board - but its not there so i have to look elsewhere

Ooh......yeah a chance to look at the old board for a few weeks or so would be invaluable....
Stupidly I didnt bother trolling it for threads I wanted to keep....a chance to save certain threads would be priceless....

Maybe a stupid question and I don't know anything about boards. but can't you put it in a zip file so we can download it and brows it on our pc or would we have to pay to use ultra board or maybe there is a free version?Originally posted by webmaster
