Once again Video Games claim another life

...this time it isn't a single game. It's the Playstation 3.

I feel a lawsuit coming... directed at Sony.

Yeah seriously... sue Sony? The only people I see getting a lawsuit is the deputy's office of that town. Was he wearing an X Box shirt? Maybe sue Microsoft, too...

The one at fault here is the one who pulled the trigger. Why blame Sony?

I agree it's pointless to blame the manufacturers. The only ones I'd blame would be those who are so obsessed with either owning a PlayStation 3 or making money off of it on auctions. Of course if you believe in accusing the manufacturer, you might as well accuse the auction site(s) as well.

It's not the video games that claimed a life this time, it's the situation. Although you have to admit that this wouldn't even have made news if the theft had been for something else.

That's a local news paper... I'm sure a ridiculous case of police brutality would have made the news... would it have made the forum? Probably not.

...in fact, if we didn't have a Nintendo fan boy like Ethic, it probably wouldn't have made the forum, anyway.

I'd think a dancing milk carton would be a little chippier.

    Listen, BUDDY!

Sony is directly responsible for this young man getting
murdered by the police. They created the shortage of
Playstation 3s, which created a demand - a demand so
high that sweet folk such as the man who was murdered
turned to thievery to get his hands on one. If he never
would have been forced to steal one, the police never
would have came to his door and he never would have
    been shot.

Nintendo would never do that. Nintendo CARES about
human life. That's why they're shipping 250,000 Wiis per
week - so more innocent people aren't brutally slaughtered.

I'm not a Nintendo Fanboy. I'm a human life advocate,
    man.

I mean, Bono does what, help relieve the starving kids in poor countries and promotes world peace... Meanwhile nintendo is keeping kids spending what could buy hundreds of dollars worth of food and medical aid on video game systems, all the while keeping them from popping their pimples in frustration and leading to destruction of one another. The greater good you see.

""He was the best kid, talented, gifted, determined,"

Sure he was. He also armed robbed people in plain day light. He was a sweet. And he also wanted to start a business. This was a person with dreams. And a great friend.

Just want to clear one thing up ... you were being sarcastic there ... right?

Was it not as a result of armed robbery?

My internal sarcasm meter activates in the form of heartburn and gas.
