    Nope.
I never really adhered to the RSS frenzy. Which seems to have been a good decision... because the frenzy has passed

RSS is very useful, but not for a message board.

It doesn't matter for me, IE7 can't view feeds with DTDs.

I use it for blogs, etc, so I don't have to go to every one.

I never knew it had one. And still don't see it!!! Where the heck is the subscribe-me button? Does it allow you to subscribe by thread? I just noticed the feed icon in Firefox's address bar but I don't use that live bookmark thingy.

But anyway, like CornedBee said, RSS just don't work with forum. I much prefer email notification.

I had it on my google homepage for awhile, but I realized I never used it

I tried using RSS a few times, but soon realized that it is USELESS.

Ha...well, I subscribe to it. Useful for a message board, not really. I just use it to scan through the last few threads and see if there's anything interesting.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein

It has its good uses. It was though advertised as something for everyone. The world was going to change, yadda, yadda.

It's an excellent tool for the industry (news agencies always come to mind). But an home use of RSS (or Atom for that matter) is always limited since these tools only really make sense in the presence of a syndication process that is something more than just collecting feeds.

But like some others have mentioned, I don't use RSS. I just haven't gotten around to trying it out.

Blogs and RSS are both a bit silly...

Maybe RSS is good for stealing news, but I don't see why I should use it.
