None of them (.com, .net and .org) are following the RFC2606 conditions.
There are 4 reserved domain names in RFC2606:
test
invalid
example
localhost
The "example" is reserved in the mentioned top-level domains. The "localhost" is not reserved in .net domain (there's localhost.net domain). None of them have "invalid" and "test" reserved.

Those are reserved for top level assignment, not for second level. As for the 'example' name, it happens to be also be reserved at second level because of a decision by IANA.
Furthermore, the "reserved" status doesn't necessarily mean they can't be used. The RFC refers under what conditions they can be used.
In other words they are reserved for a specific use. Not to be not used.
