    My native language is Finnish. English is the only foreign language I handle well enough to use it in my everyday life.

    We are (we finnish people) supposed to know some swedish but that's not the case with me

    Japanese kanji is derived from a subset of Chinese. So I'd say Chinese is the hardest language to learn actually. kanji (漢字) literally means "Han characters", and the Hans are the largest Chinese group in the world.

    Like many here, I took some classes in high school (3 years of Spanish) which I've mostly forgotten.

    Does pig latin count?
