    Talking Introduction

    Hello everyone.

I am Surge and I attend Joliet Junior College in Illinois. I am currently taking a C Programming class that is more lecture than visual or hands-on training. However, I need to get a good report in this class, otherwise, I could kiss my dreams of being a game designer good bye.

I shall eventually post the projects I need help with. No worries; I am very aware of the terms of this board and I don't intend to have somebody else do my work. Besides, I like a good challenge.

Once again, it is good to be here, and thank you to all the staff that made this board possible. I may yet have a few heroes here that might save me from a rock bottom GPA.

    Wow. Formality. What a concept.

    Hello Surge.

I am Prelude and I work as a software architect in Georgia.

I shall eventually help you with your projects. No worries; as long as you ask smart questions, I don't intend to verbally thrash you. If you don't take things personally, you can learn a great deal here.

    Hello Surge.

I am ahluka and I'm a student at Swansea Institute in Wales, UK.

I shall eventually become an intolerable annoyance to you as I (badly) attempt to help you with your projects . No worries; I'm not here much and when I am I only quickly browse the C/C++ and General Discussion boards.

    Hello Surge,

I am Happy_Reaper and I'm a senior at McGill University majoring in Math and Computer Science. I will help you as best I can (But probably not nearly as the vets here will).

And yeah, ask smart questions. Or else Prelude and quzah will make you remember it.

    Hello Surge,

I am SlyMaelstrom and I'm a wannabe poser programmer/engineer/genius from New Jersey. I am currently majoring at a local University in Computer Science and I love everything about it expect the parts that aren't computer science.

I'll probably reply to your questions, but don't listen to anything I say until either Salem, Quzah, Prelude... alright, anyone corrects me. I'm often wrong and it's often intentional... because I'm evil... not really, but someone once told me that if you believe you meant to do everything you do, then you're never wrong. ... and reread the beginning of this paragraph before taking that advice.

    Hello Surge,

I'm a little 14-year old child who is learning programming. I may be helpful to you and I am quite active but I might be wrong sometimes, so the forum GODS have to correct me (Salem, Prelude, quzah).

There's not much more to tell about me. I live in Estonia (between Russia, Finland and Latvia) and I have a cute furry cat.

    Hello Surge,

I am psychopath, i'm not very interesting, and I'm a highschool student at a school with a name you wouldn't recognize because I live in the woods.

I'll be more likely to reply to anything you ask on the game programming board, but i'm pretty much useless everywhere else. Unless you ask a really simple question about C or C++. But in that case someone else has already replied before I even read it.

    Hey there!

I'm CornedBee, and my knowledge of the little technical details of C++ is surpassed only by my arrogance about said knowledge

So if you've got an interesting question about how something works, I'm your man. Just don't forget that many things are expected to "just work" and thus don't get an explanation.

LOL, awesome. You guys are as spunky as my old comrades in the anime board I reside. Of course I've been with those party animals for about four years; I may just become one of their mods if I don't disappear as much. Heh heh heh.

Well in that case - I think I'll fit in easy around here. Thank you all for your introductions; stay tuned for my easy questions.

    Hello Surge.

I'm twomers from Ireland. I'm a student studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Cork, but I have hobbies which include programming.

If you show attempts at your projects (no matter how bad they are), I will help you as I can. I feel as though I have to repay the forums in what they have taut me,

    Hello Surge,

I'm SirNot (shortened version of SirNotAppearingOnThisForum) and I'm a board lurker. I typically contribute little to nothing in help to these boards as there are so others who are more intelligent than I am posting is only redundant.

Chances are I'll run into some of your questions on the board and probably manage a grand feat of incrementing the view count.

    Hello Surge,

I am Dark_Phoenix and I too am new to this board. I do not have a career in programming as some of the others do (I am the Operations Manager of a Trucking company in Houston) But my biggest (only??) hobby is programming.

I am not sure if I will ever be any help to you since I am still learning myself, only been programming for about a year, but if your lucky one of the programming gods here will correct any answer I give to your questions
