    How many of the hundreds of profitable online catalog sites do you think were actually paying IBM? I feel like that is either a blatant lie by IBM or a blatant lie by the journalist who said that was the case. I guess we'll have to see what the records show, however if they were honestly getting paid to have these patents used, I feel like I'd know about it.

    This definately will be interesting. Especially since Amazon has in the past done similar. As the article says, they sued Barnes and Noble over the One-Click shopping system. Should be interesting to see how this affects the lawsuit they had with B&N and their own patents. Maybe making them worth less.
