    Looking for resources

I'm looking for links, books, docs, FAQS, or any other kind of info on the PIC specs, DMA specs, and the IBM PC Technical Reference Manual . Barnes and Nobles could not find the latter on any of their systems. Perhaps this manual is out of print or it has been revised with a new name?

Anyone here know? Oh, and DMA and PIC datasheets do not appear to be on Intel's website.

Try http://www.vlib.org. It has a HUGE programming section.

Thanks everyone, but I found what I was looking for on Intel's site. Protektor found the data sheets for me. I really stink at navigating websites!!

One place you might consider when looking for books is Powells Technical Books . This is the largest indipendent book store this side of the Mississippi. I live here in the Portland area and can vouch for the shear size of it. The technical bookstore is massive, taking a city block. I frequent it often in search of various titles I may be interested in from Linux, to programming, to hardware. A great place. One of the great things is the fact that they have a lot of used books for resale and the prices are decent. Worth checking out. Hope this helps someone.
