    15. Started with C++ when I was 13, after ditching VB because it sucked. Started doing HTML and stuff when I was 9 or 10. Did some game scripting somewhere along the way. Started learning OpenGL and game programming related stuff not long after starting to work with C++.

Picked up C++/CLI and C# recently aswell, but that doesn't really count for anything.

premade PvP takes organization and strategy... but that's a problem with pick up groups...

does it create a great environment for it? yes. Is it used right? usually not.
    CS:Source is the shiz.

I'm 21... I think... I started html/javascript when I was... umm... 15? C++ and VB 6 a year later, then two years later VB .NET... I picked up Perl, PHP, Java, Javascript and more somewhere in there too... or maybe not... it might have all just been tattooed on my brain when I was abducted by aliens...

    31. Started programming when my big brother bought C64. Mainly basic language. When I got my PC I started writing textbased roleplay game using gwbasic and quickly started learning C. All this happened like, err. 15 or more years ago.

Now I have been professional software developer for 9 years.

Crazy IM moment over. I started programming Basic at 10 or 11, decided I wanted to make bigger, more intresting programs. Switched to C++ last Christmas, been using it ever since.
