We're all across the board. There are people as young as you and there are people as old as Sayeh claims to be. I'm 27, and like most people willing to tell you their age, it's in my profile.

I was 16 when I started programming because of a bet, and 17 when I started programming seriously because I enjoyed it.

Too old?! Hell, I'd say you're too young. People who begin programming at such a young age tend to develop some strange ideas about what programming is. Then people like me have to suffer the rebound as your illusions are shattered when you see what it's like in the real world.
