It's the best keyboard I've ever used though.
Plus you can hack the driver commands so the soom slider becomes a scroll slider. Albeit slow it's usefull.

I don't know if I could morraly spend $40 on a keyboard. But this is said without ever using it, so is a premature and unresearched ...
So, what makes it the 'best keyboard you've ever used though'?
I didn't pay 40, I shopped around and got it for little over 30.
Never liked those keyboards with the natural hand positioning... hurts my wrists to be on them for more than a couplemins... plus I am a self taught typer, and I type like 70-90 wpm but on those things I am cut down because the I can't reach the keys like I normally can. My home row is: aerv nio; I type with my hands crooked heh allows me to bend my wrists less ( I have broken both of my wrists and my right hand more than once... ex-skater).
I'm self taught but I can appreciate these types of keyboards. The main reason is that with my other keyboard it was so small that to type correctly I had to tilt the keyboard so that one of my arms rested on the chair armrests (I think that's the reason they call them natural). With this one I can type with both my arms on the chair, and sit up propperly. Plus it's super queit and soft on the touch. It's really the best I've ever used in my life. Plus it has a raiser to prop up the front end (the one with the soft leather hand rest) an inch or so so that you kind of type with your wrists up. It's more usefull than I originally thought it would be. Plus it looks kind of alien.
I could spend that money on it, although I dont swim in money, but still, something I have to use up to 6 hours a day is well worth the money. The same goes for a mouse.Originally Posted by twomers

I spent the money on the natural - I like it now, though it felt a little awkward at first. Now when I use a regular keyboard, it feels wrong.
Ah well. I don't suppose I'm one to talk - Currently thinking about spending £100 on a microphone :/
For what? Recording vocals or instruments or playing online games? If it's the former, than that's a decent price for one, if it's the latter then that's just plain unnessasary.

I couldn't imagine spending that much purely for gaming! I think I've sudoku on my lappy ... and I'm planning to buy Fall Out 2 for it soon. Neither or which will/do require a mic! But if I happen to come accross a game where mics are necessary, I'll use that crappy headset I have cause it'll be easier.

I play, but don't record, the drums.
...and the piano, a little.
My brother, however, does studio recording (kind of, he's not quite professional). What kind of equipment do you have, so far?

Wanna join my band? Drummers are scarcer than gold dust where I come from, then all of a sudden, you find 2 in one band. Sigh.
We could mix the instruments online, and have a concert over the Internet!(I play piano, by the way.)
