Good luck with it, iain. We'll visit. Most of the boards on the Internet are programmer boards. There's a few that aren't
but none that I 've seen that are anywhere's near popular.
We'll then again you have the rock band boards, which are
maybe popular but boring as hell. Someday I hope to see
flashdaddee be as popular as devshed.com--14,000+ members.
Ha, ha. Yeah, right. Amazing. 14,000 members! And their
moderators really know their stuff. Like anyone else just starting
out, you face a long, uphill battle my friend. But these boards
are fun, and even with only a few members one can derive a
great deal of satisfaction. I wish I had some forum topics I
could suggest to you, but I can't suggest anything you probably
haven't already thought of yourself.

No. Wait. Don't hang up!
This is America calling!
No serious offense to you flashdaddee people and to you iain... but it kinda ........es me off that everyone is putting up their own versions of this board after being members at cprogramming.com.
It would be different, I think, if you all weren't using vbulletin and tried something new or unique. How about every member here gets a vbulletin board and sits on it all day and talks to themselves.... and then comes over to here and talks about how they have a vbulletin and are on it 24/7 in one of the 800 topics. Sorry once again... I have nothing against you guys personally , and I really don't mind terribly (not that it would matter anyway) that you are doing this. But I hope you will consider that when making your board topics, Iain... I would stay away from Cprogramming topics. How many do we really need?

Another board?
Great, now I'll have to have at least three windows open at a time when I browse. One for cprog, one for flashdaddee, and one for yours.
How will I ever keep up?
Can't wait to see it. Don't have any ideas for new boards but it's just gotta have an assembly forum.
Hmmmm. Now I'll have 3 post counts to worry about. Hope nobody takes my screen name before I get there. But who in their right mind would use Bubba as their name on a programming board? I'm not in my right mind.
Okay, sorry to bring this old thread back to life, but I just had to reply to Betazep's remark before I went back to FD...

I've been a member at BeGroovy.com's forums for a couple of years now, and as long as I can remember they have had the vBulletin design. CProg.com has had it for less than a year. Just thought I'd share that...
I would just like to say that i am a very regular user of Cboard and Fdaddee and dont want to impose on their boards, their will be no duplicates of any of those boards in my forums.
As requested a board for Micro and Macro programming has been setup at the iainpb forums
