I dunno, FF just said to me the other day - (perhaps this is not an accurate quote)
'Close FireFox there, and it'll be updated'

And I thought to myself, Hmmm, that's interesting. I don't remember IE ever volunteering to update itself! (Recent FF convert)

Yes, it was yesterday I reckon. I cancelled it then. Couldn't be bothered since i had a few good tabs opened at the time. Just asked me again and I did.

You'll like FF. Take a good look at the plugins. Much of its strength is there.

The download statusbar is helpful. As well as the AdBlock and FlashBlock tools. Great for those email services that are super-slow because of flash advertising.

Hmm , fixed the issue, I didnt have any problems playing windows media content using 1.5.0.5. Before that version there were problems with it, that one would play the media, and FF would just stop responding, and in the end you had to kill the firefox process manually in order to start firefox again.

Since im using the 1.5.0.6 version the same thing has happened twice by now...

Anyway, at least they are trying to solve this issue now, it has been too long this bug has been in FF.

I think it also updated the pop-up blocker. It started blocking those precisionclick ones.

It has done so for many years. Since XP SP1 IIRC.

Would this be the annoying issue that would randomly close firefox with a fatal error when viewing content through the embedded windows media player? If so, then excellent, I was wondering why I wasn't getting that anymore. I never read those update changes.
