    Mulit-channel audio in DOS?

I know it's possible. Cannot find any docs or tutorials on it. Want to do this w/o using a library.

    Anyone have any ideas?

So far I can only play one sound via 1 DMA transfer.

I don't know quite what you mean by 2 channel sound, but you could try having sound through the PC speaker and then through an additional speaker belonging to the user. Someone mentioned a few days ago how to get 8-bit sound through the PC Speaker.

I think that was me if you look at the post. I want to play more than one digital sound at the same time.

Well, I don't know if this will be useful, but there's a file named SORCPAK1.ZIP on programmersheaven written by Draeden of VLA with a bunch of files he's collected over his demo writing days... the zip files contains a bunch of archives of different topics, and one of them includes an old mod player for dos.. While the modplayer isn't great (even draeden notes that he's written a better one recently that plays files properly) the sound code might be useful.

I already have sound code up and running. Trying to get multi-channel sound or more than one effect playing at a time. It was much easier to just download the data sheet from Creative.
