Hello, testing testing. Everthing is running perfectly...for now
I'd been waiting for this day to come, but that is a prototype; I'd like a cleaner image if possible. They're no doubt working on it. Let's not blow $20k just yet for the sake of Star Wars like-ness.
Anybody remember that Sega Arcade game with the
holographic cowboy?

Staying away from General.
That's very flawed. They should instead have the compressed are shot from one side and sucked i the other, creating a more intense flow that is less susceptible to interference from air currents in the surrounding area. They could also put filters in there and not only make a screenless TV, but an air purifier as well. That'd be pretty awesome.
It's cool, but holograms (They are experimenting with video holograms) are nicer, but MUCH more expensive.
Operating Systems:
- Ubuntu 9.04
- XP
Compiler: gcc
I'm glad ye liked it! WHen I first saw it, I thought 'STARWARS!!', and to a lesser extent 'Star treck', but they had a holigram room, right?
For 20K though, I would have expected them to have a more ... uniform 'screen' (VERY loose meaning of screen here). The higher the air rises, the more dynamic and aggressive the air will move ... so I don't think there'll be any 42'' ones for a while I think I'll wait till they come oot!
