    The internet's internals revealed

There you have it; who would have guessed the internet wasn't a truck.

I can speak from personal experience however--it's frustrating when someone sends me an internet and there's so much damn clog the tube breaks.

    OMG!

That was precious! I'm still watering my eyes from so much laughing. Thanks a bunch Valis.

I really recommend you people listen to the audio. It's... a classic. At some point you really hear someone (probably a fellow congresswoman) saying "Oh my god..." on the background.

Also click on the link to "why the internet took 5 days to reach the senator".

Valis, you made my day and it's just morning here.

I just can't bear to read so much this early (11:26) ... sigh. I'll save it for later.

Hey Mario, we in the same time zone?

No. Spain is +1. Only regions in europe with GMT are the British Islands, Iceland and Portugal. Everyone else follows our lead

Forgot about Ireland (some Irish get particular about that). That's gotta be confusing if you live near the border .... hey, is that part of Spain that's above Portugal +1??

    Galicia for you

I think not. It's the same timezone as the rest of spain. Not sure though. Why is this important anyway? You planning comming? Bring me a celtic shirt and don't even bother

Hhahahahaha Nope, just curious. I was talking to someone the other day about timezones in a pub, and he mentioned there was something funny about the time zones around the peninsula, so I thought I'd ask someone who lives there.

That is weird. Typical Spanish eh

I also saw this on the Daily Show. They did a funny skit of it later, I think you'll enjoy John Hodgman's take on net neutrality.
