Carter Beauford is his name. I saw an article where he got a drumstick stuck in his eye during one of his solos. In one of his solos he does some crazy stuff, plus his setup is pretty badass.

maybe you'd also like bands like wintersun, children of bodom, after forever (especially the album invisible circles - the others aren't that good imo), tristania (NOT the album "ashes"), angtoria, divine fire (nice heavy guitars, fast double bass, melodic keyboard, a singer with a good voice - but better ignore the lyrics ( from what i could make out it sounds too christian for my taste ), well and some other bands are kamelot, lacuna coil (ok thats not really metal imo - but related), ensiferum, epica, iced earth, symphony x, and of course the bands that were mentioned before, and bands that were not mentioned here
    signature under construction

Basically, DragonForce are the best. I hope to go and see them in December.

    Herman Li is a god.

    >> Any band that goes through drummers faster than toilet paper has to be worth a mention

Good olde drummers - hardest band member to find! Anyone else have that problem?

[sarcasm]But a bass only has 4 (sometimes more), strings. How can someone who only has to concentrate on 4 strings be hard to find? How big was where he got expelled from? [/sarcasm]

    EDIT: (inserted sarcasm tags)

Being able to play it and being good at it are 2 different things heh... Most of the people in bands around here hare issues finding singers... especially the metal bands that want real singing.
