    networking problem

I met somebody in a chat room with the following problem. I cannot guarantee the integrity of this information but somebody help.

Two stand alone computers - each has a n ethernet card, there is a cable broadband acess connected to 1 computer (allegedly via an ethernet card) Both machines run Windows XP, and there is a network hub available. He wants to network the two stations and share the broadband connection. All three cards are
netgear 10/100 mbps pci ethernet network cards and the hub is a netgear 4 port 10base-t ethernet hub model en.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
