Rather interesting...
Cool.
Good class architecture is not like a Swiss Army Knife; it should be more like a well balanced throwing knife.

So is it an add-on software to windows or a sperate windows
Hello, testing testing. Everthing is running perfectly...for now
software that looks like it is for a tablet style PC, far as I know it is still in beta.
Omg! That's a dream desktop.
Surely hope these guys all the best of luck. I'll buy!

Oh great, just what I need... the ability to drop my virtual pen and hit my virtual head on my virtual desktop and have all my virtual files tip over.
It's clever, but I don't see the general public adapting to the change.

No. Not the general public, no.
But thankfully that's not the only force driving innovation.

I'm glad CProg believes that the public is too stupid to know how to organize a desk.
That wasn't the intent of my reply. Mostly acknowledging that it may be true the public in general may not flock to buy this thing.
Not because they are stupid. Because I agree it involves a change in a tried and tested paradigm. I do like it though. And I would be curious to know if this would become a toy for me to play with or something that I was going to really use as a desktop replacement.

Well here's the way that I look at it. The virtual desktop shouldn't be something we have to buy like software. Instead it would be better if computers came with it, and used it as the default desktop mode. The prototype looks intuitive enough for something like that. I can totally imagine my desktop with piles of documents instead of some folders I made...
The whole reason I used the computer is because I suck at organizing my desk. Let's put it that way.
If it was a desktop option on the modern Operating Systems, then I think I'd mess around with it, a bit. I don't see myself using it too much.

This may get big if Windows gos "oh people will think this is neat, lets make some money" and buys them out or something buhaha. Anyways, I can see it becoming big, since its made for nubs , but Im highly skeptical about how useful it would be.
Well, whether they like it or not, I can assure you some major company is going to buy it out. It's a matter of whether they use it or not.

Who would actually use this? Why would I want my icons bumping into each other and drag and bounce when I move them? Useless.
The only thing that could be useful is perhaps the ability to put icons into piles. They might be able to use some of their ideas if they drop the physics crap. Why emulate the bad properties of a physical desk?

Never try to use real logic when applying something like this to normal users, just use "oh this is neat" logic.
