He was so addicted to WoW he decided to kill himself and therefore... wouldn't be able to play it anymore. Seems kind of contradictory. Don't give me anything about losing items. You can retrieve your account, and people reroll in WoW all the time.

I don't know what WoW does about lost accounts, but I did lose an account in EQ with a pretty well-geared level 65 and the GMs would not retrieve it for me.
I wasn't about to kill myself, but I suppose a guy at the end of his rope might go through with something like that.
