My two cents:
It won't takeoff very well if they limit it's use to pizza-box systems. So far I've found no way to order one and just stick it in my rig.

It'd be cool if new flight sims offloaded the physics processing to one of these bad boys.

Won't this only work with games that use the Agei physics API?
What about Havok games, like Half Life 2? They wouldn't benefit
from this, would they?

I guess we're no longer seeing substantial increases in CPU clock speeds anymore...now it's all hyper threading, or dual core, or 64 bit architecture, or dual GPUs.
That, I think, is the real problem. Lets not forget that the only real reason GPUs exists is because our CPUs simply don't have enough processing power to do everything. GPUs took hold as legitimate, but I'm very skeptical about these new physics developments. There's an infinite number of ways you could rig together other pieces of hardware to offload processing work.
As far as the aegea physx hardware goes, is there some sort of API or standard as far as the implementation goes? Or is it just one vendor, one implementation?
I'm not immature, I'm refined in the opposite direction.

Still, any physics library could probably be re-implemented on top of the PhysX API.

Much like 3dfx and the original Quake, Agea are going to need a "killer app" in order to sell this thing. Assuming, of course, that nVidia/ATI don't cut them off at the pass.
