once a kohatian,always a kohatian!
Good luck with your interview.
I'm sure you won't need the heads up on what they ask. Just be confident.

Go to this webiste. There is a huge amount of Microsoft information on it. http://blogs.msdn.com/jobsblog/default.aspx. I myself would like to get a job with Microsoft but I've never heard anything back from them. Good luck.
First off, I've never been interviewed by Microsoft, and I'm not a programmer / software engineer. But, I have been to a lot of technical interviews. And, I’ve interviewed / hired some technical employees (mostly technicians).
It’s OK to call them (whoever arranged the interview) and ask about the interview process. I.e. How long will it take? Who will I be meeting with? Anything special I should bring? Etc.
They will probably ask a few really hard, unpredictable, or “trick” questions. Like SlyMaelstrom said, be cool and confidant. But, do NOT try to fake-it. If you don’t know the answer, tell them how you would approach the “problem”. ”. In the “real world” you are going to get hit with questions and problems that you don’t know the answer to every day! You will have to do some research, and your boss and co-workers will be there to work on it with you.
Some companies give a test. If MS does, you should be able to find-out on the Net. If they do give a test, you should try to find out what’s on it. It would be easy to “blow” the test if they ask something you’re a little rusty on.
Are you a C.S. student? If you don't have much interview experience, I have a few more thoughts.
Good luck!

Be prepared to answer the question:
"What is your greatest weakness?"
Your reply should be:
"Kryptonite"

Thank you DougDbug for the advice. I am applying for technical position, SDE/T(Developer / Tester). I will really appreciate if you can give me few more tips!
7stud, Are u really serious about Kryptonite??? hahaha...

Don't tell them your REAL weakness!
"Can you write spyware and make it use as much ram as possible?"
Don't listen to those guys about the weakness. If you go the site I gave you they actually interview the people who do the Microsoft interview and they won't to know your weakness. The interviews biggest complaint is people who try to spin a positive as a weakness. For example my greatest weakness is that I care too much. Be honest.
My biggest weakness is that I'm so much better than everyone that I tend to lower the morale of the other employees.

They will ask you programming questions. A friend of mine had to explain quick sort and how UDP works during his MS interview.
