Well I guess how effectively you want the Earth destroyed. The heat wave from the hydrogen bomb is huge. Quite enough to kill lots amd lots of people. 500 would turn the world into a barren wasteland perhaps...

You'd need to make sure they were all detonated at exacly the same moment. Some of them could incinerate the rest of them before they have a chance to detonate.

Bilogical is the way to cause the most casualties I think. Subject a virus to radiation to encourage it to mutate then select the most virulent mutation and repeat the process. But then who will be left to appreachiate the destruction?

I have an idea, how about we all throw ice cubes at the sun to try to cool it down. with no sun, we have no plants, which means no food. the planet dies. damn ice cubes.

According to Wikipedia, the "energy release of the largest nuclear weapon ever tested" was 2.5 × 10^17 joules and the total energy of the Asian Tsunami waves was estimated at 2 × 10^16 joules. Of course, not all the energy released by a nuclear explosion would end up as wave energy, but it seems possible that even a single large submarine nuclear explosion could cause a tsunami.

It appears that reasearch into a 'tsunami bomb' was carried out in the 1940s under the name Project Seal. As they say, 'evil minds think alike'.

pfft, all of those are kind of noobish ways to destroy the world. after reading this , I think the most possible idea is to aquire 14kg of antimatter, and stick it into the earth's core. also waiting for the earth to stop existing seems like a good bet.

he will be warm for a day.
If you set a man on fire,
he will be warm for the rest of his life.

The only problem with that idea is that no one can get to the Earth's core, but since the idea is so awesome, let's do some research!

    I'm sad.

Cheering me up this thread is not.
I'm not immature, I'm refined in the opposite direction.
