    AGEIA PhysX

I posted this that day some of the threads disappeared, and just decided to repost it today. Anyways, have any of you heard of the AGEIA PhysX? It's a dedicated physics-processing chip. They used to have an exploding truck preview but they replaced it with a lame exploding dumpster.

Great graphics, sounds, algorithms, AI, pathfinding, visual effects, cutscenes, etc., etc. do NOT make a good game.

    One big problem.

It seems it's only packaged with pizza-box rigs. Until you can buy the hardware outright I want nothing to do with it.

There's also a good chance that the physics accleration provided by this card will only be available through the use of their physics engine, NovodeX. But i'm just speculating.

    The whole idea seems silly.
I'm not immature, I'm refined in the opposite direction.
