    I'd like to apologize...

    I'd like to apologize for all the posts i made when i was 15. What a loser i was. I could barely goddamn spell. Now i at least know the difference between "there" and "their".

    I had some great pangs of nostalgia when i went reading all my old posts from way back in 2001. Whatever happened to doubleanti?

    I find it nice that i've played a part in the "brief history of cprogramming", though.

    Also, does anyone know what happened to my old old old account, Aran Elus?

    Wow I don't even remember any of your old 'immature' posts you are talking about. A lot has happened since then.

    Doubleanti is still around and pops in from time to time. Perhaps the mods might be able to assist you with your account issues.

    I think some ancient, unused accounts were deleted a while back. Also, the rules only allow one account.

    That rule must be newer than 2002. Perhaps all of my posts were merged to this name?

    This board has changed a lot since i used to post. It's much moe somber/serious. Now i can actually answer people's questions! Being a second year CS major finally is paying off. :P

    The vast majority of my posts were when I was 11 when this board was still just starting. I don't remember making any of them and when I read over them, I wonder how I even got around to learning how to turn on the computer. Man I acted stupid.

    Looking back on my first posts I was a total jerk (and more naive than I am now). I'm sure the frequents here know what I'm talking about.

    I like to think I've become a bit more tolerable recently

    Kinda sucks that some of the things you (we) said over the past 5
    years are here forever. I'm just glad the old, old board is gone.

    I wish someone would delete Usenet.

    was August 2001 the month when the new forum came online? That's probably why my old username is gone...

    Whenever I read something I've written more than three months in the past, I think I'm reading something written by a snide, uppity version of myself.
    There are 10 types of people in this world, those who cringed when reading the beginning of this sentence and those who salivated to how superior they are for understanding something as simple as binary.

    I accept your apology, don't you ever do it again!

    Now go to your room.
    I'm not immature, I'm refined in the opposite direction.

    Wasn't that long ago, either :P

    You have grown pretty quickly, although that thread you made on ESink kinda made me wonder :P

    and I apologize for being so arrogant in the past...oh yeah - I still am.
    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)
            *(1 << (value + 2)))
        ).real() < 0;
    }
