So this year I have to renew my hosting, another $15 IIRC, but I'm not going to. I've decided to stay with thejefffiles (http://leesblog.thejefffiles.com) and link a .tk domain name to it. 512MB for free is just too good to pass up so I'm not going to waste my money on a paid hoster.
So anyway, there I am, happily trying to register my .tk, when, at Stage 2 where you give the URL to refer to, I enter this:
http://leesblog.thejefffiles.com
And get this back:
Now unless our man jverkoey is doing things we don't know about...According to article 14.1 of the terms and conditions of FREEDOMAIN.TK domain names we are unable to accept this URL, because the contents might contain sexually explicit products or services, or promotion for racial, ethnic or social hatred. Please change the URL and try again.
I've emailed them about it asking them to visit my subdomain and www.thejefffiles.com and explain to me which part of the site falls under article 14.1. If I don't get a good reply along with the domain being "un-black-listed" I'm going to do something. I haven't worked out what yet (actually I probably can't do much seeing as I don't actually own thejefffiles).
