Despite the fact that cacti are the only plants I can manage to keep alive, the injury rate is too high to own one ;p

    LoL, Prelude.

Well, my mom owns two, and I live with my parents, as I am only a teenager. So, I have two.

    its the ultimate programmers plant

1)it requires virtually zero attention - water it on a yearly basis and its happy

2)they survive in artificial light an humidity (ie the computer room)

3)you can name them, and they can become your friend

4)if programming stress overcomes you you have something to kill without being arrested

hmm, I don't think I've ever watered it.

WHOA! I'd rather destroy a computer screen first (it's much more interesting , trust me)

I've heard that cacti (is this really the plural form of cactus?) actually absorbe some of the computer screen's radiation, but my computer room is so disorganized, I don't have my cactus in here.

Oh my God, you killed Cactus!

We have a cactus, but my mom doesn't like it. She never gives it any water. I think I'm going to adopt him. I think it is kinda cool to have a cactus in my room

LOL!!! That made me laugh SO hard for some reason...

    I'd still rather destroy a monitor...sounds interesting.

I had a cactus on top of my piano... it has now migrated to the windowsill but apart from that, and not being watered for 10 years it's had an uneventful existence though it must have some sort of super powers to have survived that logn without water. It's also got a resident spider squatting on it at the moment. There's no way I'm going near it due to a mild case of anoraknophobia.

I now own a new cactus though. It was a recent christmas present however it's a fibre optic lamp thing. Very ugly but it was a gift. I might put it on my desk one of these days. Or maybe not!

Anoraknophobia! LOL! There's something a bit wrong there!

Arachnophobia I believe it should be.

Easy mistake to make. Anoraknophobia is one of my favourite albums.

Jeez, I've got rock music on the brain!

There're too many polls... You know what? I'm going to go make a poll, asking whther or not you think there should be fewer polls... Lame but hey, I have no life.
