I think my mac is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I love this thing--it's fast, the software is amazing, and the only time it's ever crashed on me was when Warcraft III did something insane and froze up the whole computer.

Plus, it's awesome when people go "....the computer is INSIDE the monitor?? No way!"

A DELL isn't worth 1200 in the first place.

Eventually we should be able to get windows on a mac, but it won't be as simple as just sticking your install disc in.

And one reason is to have Linux, OSX and Windows all on one computer, without emulators.

And of course to show that you can. What was the real point of ipod linux? It's slow, like a 15 mhz processor or something, can do jack all, but it has funkiness value

to play .ogg files on your ipod of course... and the fun of installing linux on yet-another type of hardware.
