argX! Okay...........my HD had 300 MB. The next day it has 200 MB. The next day it had 100 MB. I never installed anything. The next day it had 85 MB. So I deleted one of my 2 games i have on my comp. The comp goes up to 275 MB. The next day it is down to 240 MB. The next day it is down to 188 MB. I never installed anything.
WHY!??!??!?!?!??! dang Windows.......and NO ITS NOT THE SWAP FILE.
The next time that happens, get your disk size by doing a 'dir' in a console. Se if it corresponds to your erroneous readings.
Maybe it is your swap file.j/k

try doing ScanDisk, it fixes the free space report when it is wrong.
try chkdsk for more accurate results
