    Platform suggestion

    does anybody have a suggestion about what platform i use (linux, mac, or windows) for c programming?

    You could use any, although I suspect there are more free products for Windows and Linux then Mac's.

    Windows. Only Windows. It's the best.

    Besides, it's not like *nix and Mac will be around in 20 years anyway.

    Personally, I use and prefer Linux (mostly for the powerful command line), but Apple offers a free IDE called X-Code, which I have heard is decent, and is the standard for OSX development.

    I've worked for some of the biggest names in this country, including multinationals.
    Getting paid for something you like to do, could it get better?
    Yes it could, you could get paid A LOT for doing something you like to do which sadly programmers here aren't.
