    Reccomended Website Hosts

Can anyone reccomend me some decent website hosts? I am looking for a reasonable price, probably around $10 a month, preferably under $10. It will mainly be for my small 2D Game team, to post projects for download and have news. I do not need a business host or anything like that. The games and stuff will be free so no need for credit card processing. Any suggestions?

Pair Networks. Their first non-FTP package is like $5.95US, their hosting rocks and they have great service.

dayanahost is who I'm with. I got $10 for a year but it was on offer - I think it's $15 a year now.

Powweb is fantastic, I've been with them for 2 years now and they give you a LOT of features for only 7.77 a month:

    Powweb

    For example, you get:

    12 gigs of space
    10 gigs daily bandwidth
    5 SQL databases
    PHP support
    Amazing tech support

I've been with them for 2 years now and when I signed up they only had 2 gigs of space, they then upgraded to 3, 5, and now 12 gigs (for free!).

If you sign up....sign up after clicking the link above, I'm close to getting a payout...haha.

Alternatively I offer free web hosting on my site (512 megs of space, unlimited bandwidth, and a subdomain at TheJeffFiles). http://thejefffiles.com/hosting.php

I use 1and1.com - business package. Very reliable.

$10 a month, three domains - 20 gig space, 1000gig monthly bandwith, 100 databases, 25 FTP accounts, 500 email adresses - etc etc.

the only dowside is that their interface sucks - they made it a bit better in the past few months, but overall i still don't like it. You have to go through multitude of menus and new windows to get to the place you want.

One of the cheapest and fairly reliable ones I've found is http://influxhost.net/

I'm interested in jverkoey's now though. Too bad I wouldn't have use for that much bandwidth, or space. But how exactly is the control panel anyway? I'm fairly use to cPanel, and they don't seem to offer it?

    https://opsclassic.powweb.com/beta/

    login:

    username: demo
    password: demo

This is their new beta. I personally like it much better than the original interface (viewable here: https://opsclassic.powweb.com/ with the same login). It much more resembles c-panel now in that everything is accessible from the main page.

Cool, I'll check these out then. There are so many, I don't know what to pick. Plus I don't want to get screwed over. We'll see
