I've never felt smarter when trying to learn about some new technology.

Interesting technology. Wonder if there are any unforeseen drawbacks like when Kenwood came out with 72x CD-ROMs. The laser was split into seven lasers and it was the fastest CD-ROM in the world. Problem was that as the disc aged and got scratches on it, the drive could not read it because the split laser's were returning bad info.
