    my favourite bands:
    (with *rough* genre)
dont ask my how these metal - sub - genres are exactly classified

nightwish (symphonic metal / score metal)
rhapsody (symphonic epic metal / score metal) (actually the older cds were classified as symphonic epic hollywood metal)
    therion (symphonic opera metal)
    after forever ( gothic/melodic metal)
    wintersun (power metal)
    blind guardian (epic metal)
    epica (symphonic metal)
    kamelot (metal)
    haggard (death-classic metal)
    stratovarious (metal)
    edenbridge (metal)
    tristania (gothic metal)
    ensiferum (metal)

following are not my favs - but i listen to them too now and then:
    graveworm (death-metal)
    mystic circle (black-metal)

even though i mainly listen to metal (basically all variants and sub-variants - but NO nu-metal) i hardly heard anything of metallica and iron maiden (evil - isnt it? )
currently i liked as many songs as i liked from those songs ive heard from them so far.

    edit:
listen to "progged radio" (internet radio) for these bands and many more
(this is currently the only radio station i *really* like)

    Music artists, eh?

If they had a hit in the 70's I probably like them a lot.

I've got two Motorhead albums but have sorta gone off them lately. AC/DC are great; got If You Want Blood a while ago and loved every minute of it.
EDIT: I've got an AC/DC DVD, Live in Donnington 1991
