There isn't much in the way of quality control for Froot Loops, so the diameter varies greatly. There will be some times when a 6.5mm jack will work well, but others when you're going to need a 1/4" one. These are called "Loose Loops" and it's generally agreed that the improvement in bass effect isn't worth the overall reduction in clarity.

I've found that thread works well for creating strands of Froot Loops. Very festive...especially if you're the sort that uses multi-color Christmas lights. As an added bonus, all you have to do is carry a squirt gun filled with milk and you've got ready-to-eat cereal anywhere in the house.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein
They have their own support forum http://www.fruityloops.com/

I think you'll find it's called FLStudio these days. The SDK (with full instructions etc.) is available from flstudio.com. However, even the developers themselves recommend VSTi development over FL native plugins.
Yes it was on-topic. Yes, I don't care
