Has anyone ever been to his homepage? I went there the other day, and was suprised that he is a pretty regular guy. I also found his FAQ quite entertaining, as it is a really great insight into how C++ came to be.

Edit the link to Denis Ritchie's site because it doesn't work. I've been to BJ"s site and I have all his books. I don't think that he is concieted or anything. He is also an editor of a series of books called 'The In Depth Series' by addisson westley publishers co.

I advise every _programmer_ read that, he explains some important points about C++ and why it includes what it does, among general things about designing a programming language.
Yeah I check that DR link a couple of times, and it does work. I got it from Bjarne's site, so any complaints should be fowarded to him !
